Over the past year Fairtrade Foundation (UK) Executive Director, Harriet Lamb has been working with Ebury Publishing to write her story of how Fairtrade has got to where it is today. Fighting the Banana Wars and Other Fairtrade Battles (RRP £ 10.99) will be published on 7th February 2008. The book charts the heroic struggle of the early years to get new Fairtrade Products like bananas onto supermarket shelves, and celebrates the success of the Fairtrade Towns network in raising awareness of  Fairtrade across the UK, all set against a background of farmers in the field and supermarket executives in the boardroom. Re. Millioneurosin90days project, well I have been working late into the evening recently contacting the US. with the time difference, especially on the West Coast.
